Recent Press on Lights, Camera, Rock 'n' Roll
Just wanted to share some of the recent press coverage on my music photography exhibition Lights, Camera, Rock ‘n’ Roll at the Muskegon Art Museum now through Sunday, September 1, 2019.
This first clip is from My West Michigan on WZZM 13. Kirk Montgomery and I take a tour of the exhibition a day before it opens to the public.
My old friend, Andy O’ Reilly, share war stories from some of the shows I photographed for The Muskegon Channel. He and I go back 30 years to when we were both board ops working at 94.5 KLQ in Grand Rapids.
I had a great time chatting with Todd Chance on Morning Mix about the exhibition.
Jesse Bruce of Classic Rock WMPA 93.1 had a fun chat about how I got into music photography and some of the most memorable shows I photographed over the last 30 years.
For the last 10 years, I’ve been photographing concerts here in West Michigan for GRNow.com. Thanks, CJ, Kerhington and GRNow.com for the nice write up on Lights, Camera, Rock ‘n’ Roll! http://www.grnow.com/get-to-grknow-paul-jendrasiak/

Revue Magazine Article on Lights, Camera, Rock 'n' Roll at Muskegon Museum of Art
Thanks Revue West Michigan for the write up on my up coming exhibition Lights, Camera, Rock 'n' Roll at the Muskegon Museum of Art! Back when I was fresh out of high school, Music Revue (now REVUE), was the very first place I began photographing concerts. I'm incredibly grateful for all the amazing shows I got to photograph through them. A good number of the prints in my exhibition are from these days in the early 1990s. And most sat in my garage packed away as negatives and slides for almost 20 years until I began scanning them in 2012. Some Recent Prints
Love this! It's always fun to see how folks display the prints I do up for them! This one is from Amanda. Love seeing Zakk Wylde, Tony Iommi, Dimebag, Ivan from Five Finger Death Punch, Alice Cooper, and Rob Halford rocking the walls!
Here's a brushed metal one I did up of the photo I took of Dimebag Darrell back in 1991 for John.
Did up this 16x20 of James Hetfield of Metallica that I took on the 1991 Black album tour for Thomas.
Morrissey in 1992 at his midnight record release on brushed metal for Abbey.
Some Cool News!
I got a call last week letting me know that two photos I took of James and Kirk of Metallica back when I was just 19 in 1991 from opening night of the Black album tour in Musekgon, Michigan, will be part of guitar string maker Ernie Ball's "An Ernie Ball Original" campaign.
George Lynch
When I was a skinny, long haired, guitar playing punk kid, next to Eddie Van Halen, George Lynch was my favorite guitar player! After I traded my guitar for a camera, it was a total blast to photograph him a few times during the early 90s when Lynch Mob came through the area.
I'm pretty stoked that George wanted to include a print one of the shots I took back then as one of the pre-order options for his new release Shadow Train.
If you're a fan of George's you should definitely check it out at: http://ratpakrecordsamerica.com/george-lynch
Take 5 & Company Interview

Eddie Vedder on Aluminum

From Pearl Jam's show at Kalamazoo State Theatre in 1991. You can see my latest selections that are available this week only at: http://www.PaulJendrasiakPhotography.com/
